Invitation to Bid Date Issued: March 26, 2026 Invitation No: D2-26-643-01 Sealed proposals from vendors will be received by the District 2 Public Health Regional Office, 1280 Athens Street, Gainesville, GA 30507, until 4:00 pm legally prevailing time (EST) on April 15, 2026, for the purchase and conversion of a large van-style mobile WIC unit for the Gainesville District WIC Program. After the time and at the place noted above, the proposals will be publicly opened and read. No extension of the bidding period will be made. The mobile unit will be used to provide WIC nutrition services, certifications, and outreach in community settings and must be designed to support anthropometric measurements, counseling, and related program services. The unit shall consist of a high-roof, extended-length van platform (e.g., Sprinter or Transit). Box truck or trailer-based units will not be considered. Bidding documents may be obtained from the District 2 Public Health office, 1280 Athens Street, Gainesville, GA 30507. Bidders must be experienced in mobile vehicle conversions or similar projects, and able to provide references upon request.
