TSY America, Inc. seeks candidates for a Production & Engineering Manager position in Buford, GA. US or foreign High School Diploma or equiv (GED etc.). 5 yrs' exp in managing production & assembly lines based on Japanese Production System (TPS, KPS, etc.); Value Analysis/Value Engineering to reduce costs & improve productivity; quality control incl defect analysis & development of countermeasures; & procurement & supply chain support mainly from Asia. Travel reqd every other month to visit customers & suppliers within US for 1-2 days & TSY HQ in Japan & plant in China for up to 10 days per visit. Language ability reqd to read, write & communicate technical documents; negotiate technical & quality issues w/ customers' executive & managerial expatriates; & prepare confidential & highly technical & business-related reports to the parent in Japanese.
