NOTICE OF CITY OF REST HAVEN GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION Pursuant to O.C.G.A. SS 21-2-1 et seq. and all other applicable Georgia laws, please be advised that on November 4, 2025, a general municipal election will be held in the City of Rest Haven, Georgia, at which time there will be submitted to the qualified voters of said City for their determination the expired term of Mayor, (to succeed Kenneth Waycaster). Advance, in person voting shall be available between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Buford City Hall, beginning October 14, 2025 through October 31, 2025 including Saturday October 18, 2025 and Saturday, October 25, 2025. The election shall be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the City of Buford, Buford City Hall, 2300 Buford Highway, Buford, Georgia All duly qualified electors of the City of Rest Haven are urged to participate. Those qualified to vote at said election shall be determined in all respects in accordance and in conformity with the laws of the State of Georgia. Those interested in qualifying for said offices should be advised that the respective qualification period shall run from Monday, August 18, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. through Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. at Buford City Hall. Qualification will close at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Individuals intending to qualify shall remit the sum of $35.00.
